We are pleased to anounce that our new record will be out on Household Name Records in June!
The excellent Household Name Records other bands include Capdown, Lightyear, Adequate 7 and Five Knuckle.
We are very pleased to be in such good company. And we’d like to thank the guys at Household Name for having enough faith in us to release the record.
We’ll also be doing some dates on the HHN summer tour. We’ll keep you up to date on that.
The release date will now be in June!
Last weeks edition of ‘The Lock Up’ – Radio 1’s punk show – played one of our tracks. Bug them and they might play some more.
They played ‘I spit on your grave’ on the show. None of us actually heard it as we are all tucked up in bed by 10 o’clock (thanks to Dave Fingers for texting me the next day to tell us).
Those of you who are allowed to stay up a bit later than us should definitly check the show out. They play loads of great punk including a lot of Bristish stuff (Lightyear, Capdown, 4ft Fingers, King Prawn) as well as interviews and live sessions.

We’ve also been contacted by quite a few peopletelling us that we’ve been on daytime Radio 1…
as part of the trailer for The Lock Up. The trailer includes a bit of ‘I spit on your grave’. Thanks to all the people who spotted that and contacted us.

For the last week and a bit we’ve been at the Whitehouse Studios recording the new album.
It was hard work and we nearly killed one another a few times but we got it done. Alan and Martin (who runs the Whitehouse) finished of the mixing yesterday.
We’ve recorded 12 tracks, many of which we’ve been playing live for a while plus a few brand new songs as well.
We don’t have any details about title/release date etc yet as we will be working all that out when me and Brandy get back from snowboarding but we’ll let you know soon as.
We’ll be putting up some mp3s on the site so check back soon.
We’d like to say a big thanks to Martin who worked very hard and put up with us for a lot of long days during the recording!
We’ve recently added a new member to the Kenisia ranks. He’s James and he plays trumpet and sings.
If you’ve been to one of our recent shows you would of seen James on trumpet. He’s also on the new record we’ve been doing at the studio.
James is from America (but we won’t hold that against him) and has been in the UK for a little over 6 months.
He’s been in loads of bands and has an amazing voice but for some reason he wanted to play trumpet for us! And we’re more than happy to have him in the band.
You’ll be able to find out more about James and the other members of the band in a week or so time when we’ll be putting profiles of all the members of the band on the website.
It’s Christmas so we thought we use it as an excuse to have a party ( or in Mr. Zippy’s case get naked ).
The Kenisia Christmas party is on the 29th of Dec at the Porter Butt in Bath. It will be us, Mr. Zippy ( who will get Nekid! ), Tiny Elvis and Exit Wound! It’s just a pound to get in and we’ll be giving stuff away and generally enjoying enjoying ourselves.
